The rise of civilization (Project 1 ) .
Project 1 was a group work and i had to work with my friend Ragul for this project. We were asked to produce a timeline about ancient Indonesian civilization, and was asked to focus more on settlement patterns during that time.
Opinion and reflections (Project 1)
After doing this project, i came to know more information about Indonesian civilizations, and how each civilization contributed during their era. Furthermore, i also had to do a lot of research about the civilizations and produce a timeline with illustrations and drawings based on the research. As a result of doing this with my team mate, i learned how to use the information i took to create timelines. Apart from this i should also note that i have learned to work in pairs as this project was done with my friend, Ragul
Messages from the Past (Project 2)
Movie (Puteri Gunung Ledang).
We were distributed into groups and each group was assigned to produce their own movie. Our task was to produce a movie based on Puter Gunung Ledang, using our own script but retaining the main story of the movie.
Locations .
This location inside Taylor’s university was used for the fighting scene between Gusti Adapati and Hang Tuah
The circled spot on this location was used for the scene between Hang Tuah and the princess of Malaka.
This location was used for the following scenes • Day time fighting scene between the Hangtuah and Gusti Adapati . • Scene where Hang tuah and his guard go in search for the princess • The spiritual talk between the princess of Java and her brother Gusti Adapati.

Costume .
My role was to play the character of Hang Tuah, this is the costume i wore to play my part.

Final Movie.
Individual Journal
Together with the movie presentation, we were asked to produce an individual journal about the character we played in the movie. Therefore, my Journal was based on Hang Tuah. In my Journal, i included the personal information of Hang Tuah. In addition with this i also highlighted on his personality and the part he played in the movie.

Learning Outcome
1. Able to recall the development of Eastern and Western human civilizations in the past as well as present.
2. Able to demonstrate good documentation and presentation skills.
While doing this project i had to search for the information about the eastern civilization and Malaysia. Therefore, my knowledge about the history of Malaysia improved and i came to know about one of the critical stories in the Malaysian History.After doing research about the movie, i also found out how the people of Malaysia still respects this historical story as they have produced different movies related to the story. In addition with this, by acting as the lead character in the movie we had to produce, i also believe that i have improved my acting and presentation skills.

Introduction to my theme
For our final project, we were asked to choose a theme and take photographs in different locations, or in the same location, relating to that theme. Therefore the theme i chose was ' How lights can make an atmosphere more electric and colorful'. Therefore from the photo's i snapped i tried to show how the lights make the atmosphere more colorful and electric.

Learning Outcomes
1. Able to recall the development of human civilization in the past as well as present.
2. Able to demonstrate good research and documentation skills and enhance creativity through the representation of postcard series
From this project i learned a lot of things. To start with, it was very interesting to go to places and snap photo's. In addition with this, i learned how our civilization has developed compared to the past, as people used fire as a source of light in the past. But nowadays, we have light bulbs created in different sizes, and lights combined, to create a magnificent sights as shown in my photographs. Furthermore, i have to agree that my research skills also improved as i had to snap out pictures which were related to my theme. Therefore, i had to research about places that produce different light effects and travel to those places as well. However, i also realized some of the weaknesses while i was doing this project, which was my poor time management. Considering all this, i need to manage my time next time i do a project like this.
Opinions and reflections About the Subject .
By doing the subject Culture And Civilization , i believe that i have improved in may ways, and found out what my weaknesses and strengths are. To start with, this subject made me realize how the countries today are developed and part played by the early civilization to bring about the development. In addition with this, my research skills has improved, as i had to research a lot for the projects given. Other than this, i also believed that my acting/presenting skills improved after acting in our group movie. As for the strengths i found out that i was better than i though at taking photographs as i had to take photographs related to my theme on the final project. In conclusion, i believe that i have learned a lot of new things. But most importantly, i have also found out one of my weaknesses, which is time management. After doing the projects, i think that i need to focus on managing my time a bit well for the projects and assignment.
