Project 1 A (On site sketching)
For this project we were required to engage with the site by experiencing it through a spatial sequence of our choice.
While moving in sequence, we were required to record our observation and perception of the spaces and the human habitation of these spaces through free-hand sketches. This sequence included
both exterior and interior spaces.
What i learned and gained:
By doing this project i understood the notion of space in architecture. In addition to this, i developed skills through visualizing space through observation and perception of a given site. Also, i learned how to use sketching as a mode of communication.
Project 1B
For this project we were required to choose an object, and sketch it using the 4 rendering techniques taught.
What i gained and learned:
By doing this project, i learned how to apply the 4 different sketching techniques in my sketches.
Project 2A
For this project we were to redesign the farnsworth house by including our own walls, furnitures and etc. After this we were to prouduce orthographic drawings for our redesigned house.
What i learned and gained from this project:
I got to learn how to draw traditional architectural drawings using different drafting tools. In addition to this, I also learned how to input different architectural symbols, to plans, sections elevations etc. Furthermore, I also learned how to demonstrate line types, line weights , line quality and hand lettering using the technical pen.
Project 2B
For this project we were to produce an axonometric view of our redesigned farnsworth house.
What i learned and gained from this project:
This project helped me to visualize and draw the spaces and architectural detail In 3D, axonometric form. To do this I learned how to generate the axonometric drawing and to apply them in the design process. All this helped me to produce legible architectural drawings.

Project 2C
For this project we were to produce 1 one point and 2 point perspective for either the interior or the exterior of our redesigned farnsworth house.
What i gained and learned from this project
This project helped me to express spaces in one point and 2 point perspective drawings. Within this project I was taught how to generate the drawings and apply them in the design process
