Design Studio 2
A brief look into the Subject Design Studio 2

Project 1 : Famous People Familiar Faces
In the first project i was tested to explore how spaces are created by using different architectural elements. These findings were to be produced in the form of a video, A3 drawings, and models.

Models we produced for Project 1
What i learned and gained from this project
I was able to identiy and appriciate the work of a master architect, Le Corbusier. In addition to this i also understood the basic architectural compositions of solid, plane lines and frames. I was tested on analyzing the great work of Le Corbusier and his design, Maisons Joul .

Project 2 : Site and Analysis and Picnic Pavilion
For this project, we were first assigned to groups and each groups were to do a site analysis of the selected topics in which we got 'Water Drainage'. The selected site for our group was Port dickson. Upon Completion of this, we divided to a group of 2. Then each pair had to design a Picnic pavilion located in one of the sites at Port dickson.
Below this the link for the final site analysis we produced for our site in Port dickson.
Me and my group members had to do the Water Drainage system of the site.
What i learned and gained from this project
I learned how to generate structure, form and space through architectural conceptualisation with the emphasis on the site responding to develop and architectrual proposition. I also developed my model crafiing skills and my drawing skills due to this assignment.

Final Project
For this project i was assigned to design a beach house for my client Danis Allen (Environmentalist), in one our given 4 sites in Port Dickson. Our final design were to be produced in terms of two a1 boards with one additional board for the site response, one site model (a3 size) and one final model (scale 1:50) .
What i learned and gained from this project .
To start with, this project taught me to interpret and analyze simple site context. I also learned different ways to take out a concept related to the clients activities and emphasize it in a design. So basically, i learned how to design a simple building that meets user requirements and respect site context that balances both internal and external design values
